Commissioned by Scientific American, Luisa Jung’s latest project features a cover and five interior illustrations for a special Health Equity issue, released in November 2024. The illustrations accompany a series of articles addressing key health equity topics including strategies for tackling the mpox outbreak, the impact of vaccines, cultural competency in healthcare, improving health data collection, and removing bias from medical diagnoses. The project highlights ongoing efforts to reduce health disparities and promote equity in healthcare.
