Illustrator Giulio Bonasera was commissioned by The Guardian to lend his talents to their Long Read summer issue, illustrating “The People Who Never Forget” article by Linda Rodriguez McRobbie. The article talks about highly superior autobiographical memory (HSAM) a rare condition that causes people to never forget. Giulio’s work depicts the blessing and curse of having years of active recall playing at the same time as day to day short term thoughts. It’s chaos and clarity melded into one, with bold graphics only Giulio can deliver.
