Illustrator Alyah Holmes was commissioned by the City of Mississauga to create a series of seven banners in honor of the city’s 50th anniversary. Each banner was customized with neighborhood landmarks, characteristics and references, in dynamic and vibrant layouts. The banners were installed throughout the city on light poles in a series named ‘The City in Color’.
