Alyssa Pizer’s Latest Addition: Mindy Byrd

Mindy Byrd‘s inventive images are like beautiful pages torn from a handmade scrap book. There’s the impeccably styled fashion model with added touches of texture and color gathered from nature that float and weave across the page. In other images, fashion accessories appear like punctuation marks on an already stunning portrait. In a series for Earnest Sewn/Refinery29 she tells a story without words, and adds graphic impact with torn, doubled imagery to enhance other portraits in black-and-white. She always seems to know exactly what to add, but nothing more.
