He insisted on painting his own ideas, single-handedly pioneering a fiercely intellectual and metaphoric approach to editorial art.
To honor his extraordinary life and career, SVA Galleries, in partnership with BFA Comics and BFA Illustration and the Norman Rockwell Museum, presents Brad Holland: Making It Personal. The exhibition offers a rare, intimate look at his vast body of work—from powerful political commentary and haunting pastels to his personal painting palettes and studio easels.
