Brian Stauffer’s Bespoke Style

Posted on

What began as a single cover for Worth magazine grew into a six-year collaboration and the creation of  Brian Stauffer‘s Bespoke style. Brian is an incredibly versatile artist, and his Bespoke style is by no means his only approach. But its elegance and sophistication was a look Worth magazine, a publication for those who can afford the finer things in life, was eager to embrace. Brian told us, “They publish six times a year, and the work that came from that effort produced a lot of experimentation.  They wanted the same artist’s voice but enough of a flexibility in style that covers were not redundant but branded as a ‘Worth look.'” The style ended up becoming referred to as his Bespoke style.

Beyond his work with Worth magazine, other ADs he works with now refer to it as his Bespoke style also, and have a sense of whether that style or his more traditional work is what they are looking for. The Bespoke style often overlaps with his more traditional style. ” I love when that happens,” Brian says. “In general, my work meanders in a pretty wide style range. I love to let the idea dictate the solution whenever possible.”
