Photographer Chris Gordaneer recently shot this beautiful campaign for Humber College in Toronto, Canada, with the creative team at Broken Heart Love Affair. The campaign titled, “The You You Knew Was In You,” centered around the idea that each student has a future version of themselves waiting to emerge, and the imagery reflects that. Chris used two key lights in each scene to symbolize the student looking inward and envisioning their future self.
The look and feel of the images were captured in-camera with minimal post-production. The lighting and composition were carefully planned to bring the concept to life in a clean and authentic way.
They shot 14 scenes over two days. Albeit long days, the outcome was incredibly rewarding.
