Illustrator and Author, James Yang, has received exciting recognition for his recent children’s books. A Universe Big & Small: A Story About Carl Sagan earned high praise from Kirkus Reviews, which called it “a lovely interpretation of curiosity and wonder” – a notable achievement, as positive Kirkus Reviews are a rare and respected honor in the children’s book world.
Additionally, his book Charles & Ray, Designers At Play was selected by expert judges at the Bologna International Children’s Book Fair as one of the 150 best children’s books in the world – out of 3,858 submissions published in 2024! This marked a major milestone in Yang’s career as it was the first time one of his books received such widespread international acclaim.
