Illustrator/Animator Dan Bransfield recently lent his talents to The Globe and Mail for the article “Ready, Set, Unwind” by Gayle MacDonald. The story highlights six celebrated Canadians and how their ideal summer vacation was actually found in their own backyards.
Dan’s illustrations give a welcoming and painterly quality that combines well with the rest and relaxation of his subjects. His style truly captures the peace of each location, making every destination equally inviting. The subtlety of his animations also lend to the stillness of his artwork, truly capturing a moment in time. The final pieces are a perfect compliment to the beauty that Canada has to offer.
