Dennis Welsh Captures The True Spirit of Community for Eastern Bank

For Photographer/Director Dennis Welsh, Eastern Bank has always been a standout client, grounded in a shared commitment to authenticity. Under the creative direction of Mark Bappe, the guiding principle for the campaign was clear: the photography had to be honest. The work focused on the meaningful impact Eastern Bank has within the community, and anything less than genuine storytelling would have felt like just another advertisement. The goal was to create images where people could see their own lives reflected — their families, their neighbors, their triumphs, and their challenges.

That commitment to truth is what led Mark to bring Dennis onto the project. Together, they worked in soup kitchens and shelters, alongside literacy programs, and with organizations creating safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ community. It remains work that Dennis and Mark are deeply proud of — rooted in real people, real stories, and real impact. The trust placed in them by the team at CTP was both meaningful and essential to bringing the vision to life.
