Mobile-gaming giant Big Fish Games commissioned photographer/director Ethan Pines to create a lifestyle and portrait series that would telegraph the creativity, joy, collaboration and freedom of its workplace. Known for combining humor and energy with genuine, relatable, human moments, Ethan was perfect for the shoot.
He got to know the company and their goals; scouted the Seattle headquarters from top to bottom; concepted scenarios in tandem with the client; cast real people from the company; and used his signature directing, lighting, color and set design to create a final campaign Big Fish is thrilled with.
“I kind of want to work there,” he muses. “It’s like the dream workplace.”
