Greg Neumaier‘s latest exploration called The Nonspatial Continuum is a beautiful exploration of scale and dimension that draws heavily on the Bauhaus aesthetic. Bathed in stark lighting, the all-white arrangements are composed with just the basic ball cone and cube, but as Greg tells us, “There is an inherent tension in physical balance, giving a sense of impending movement. A perfectly balanced marble – impeccably static. The viewer is tempted to choose. Is it a moment frozen in time, or is it the instant prior to setting off a chain of events? Each image presents a series of constantly shifting paradoxes.”
The series was shot during the shelter-in-place, March through July 2020.
