In his latest personal series, photographer/director Jason Lindsey created portraits of the children who will face an uncertain future impacted by climate change. As these portraits suggest, we are intertwined with the natural world and will need to find a path. He tells us, “While shooting through the glass, I am exploring the imagined separations we create with people and nature through artificial boundaries and barriers. In climate science, we are often contemplating the future by evaluating the past. The reflections represent the idea of looking forward and backward in time in the same image.”
