Jeff Hinchee’s illustrations for Barnard Magazine’s Innovation Issue story, “Breaking Norms,” are informed by his extensive work as a set designer for television and theatre. They’re an assemblage of traditional drawing and painting, cut paper relief, models, and the occasional found object that in this case come together in the form of a tableau. It is an innovative approach, well suited for this particular assignment which posits that the old way isn’t always the best way. See the full article here.
