Once photographer Jeff Kauck saw the interior of the new restaurant GT Prime he had the perfect solution for the the wall murals the designers at Studio K were looking for. A modern twist on the Dutch Masters style of lighting would be the perfect addition to both blend and contrast with the modern, dramatic interior. Jeff spent months pulling the shoot together, researching old Dutch Masters’ paintings, and looking for the right food items and props. The portrait of head chef, Giuseppe Tentori, is also a great interpretation of the Dutch Masters portrait style.
