Illustrator Joey Guidone recently created a series of illustrations for ESPN’s 30 for 30 podcast Murder at the U (available on YouTube and Spotify). The project came through ESPN’s art director Eric Paul, who reached out to Joey to create a key visual along with a set of episodic images to accompany each episode, capturing key moments from the story.
“As the narrative evolved, some of the visuals were refined to better reflect specific scenes and details—for example, I researched the exact location of the crime scene to depict it as accurately as possible. In the final stage, I developed a consistent color palette and atmosphere to unify the series.”
