Jim Reed
Jim Reed is a National Geographic photographer who specializes in extreme weather and climate change, including hurricanes, tornadoes, lightning, blizzards, and floods. In between storms he likes to photograph landscapes and quirky things in America.
He is the author of the critically acclaimed photo book Storm Chaser: A Photographer’s Journey. He has been featured on numerous TV shows and specials, including Good Morning America, Oprah Winfrey Network, and The Discovery Channel and has received many awards for his work from, among others, Communication Arts, American Photography, Photo District News, Photo Review, and Prix De La Photographie Paris.
Boom
The BOOM team specializes in illustration and animation, including character design, CGI modelling, texturing, and retouching. They have developed a thorough understanding of how to craft an image to communicate the right message and captivate the consumer.
It’s no surprise the team has been working together for almost ten years, producing exciting solutions for some of the largest global brands. Along with their roster of illustrators, photographers, and film makers, BOOM works across cutting-edge media disciplines to meet the clients’ needs.
Brett Nadal
Brett Nadal is an award-winning commercial photographer and creator of short motion films. A Chicago native, he began his career as a photojournalist at age 19 and now produces Fortune 100 advertising and design assignments.
The F Stop Studio
The F Stop Studio is conveniently located just outside downtown Chicago. The studio features 4,000 square feet with an open floor plan, two back-to-back commercial kitchens, a comfortable client space, and 90 feet of window space with eastern and western daylight exposure, as well as blackout capabilities. Production support is available for equipment rental and catering, and our onsite staff and in-house producer are available to assist with any further production needs.
David Plunkert
David Plunkert’s illustrations have appeared in advertising campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, as well as major newspapers, magazines, and recording labels. His work has been recognized by American Illustration, Communication Arts, Graphis, Print, the Society of Illustrators, and The New York Art Director’s Club and has been featured in numerous books. He has taught graphic design and illustration in addition to lecturing for AIGA chapters throughout the US. He has received gold medals from the Society of Illustrators NY and the Best Film Poster Award at the South by Southwest Festival. He and Joyce Hesselberth co-founded Spur Design in 1995. He was inducted into the Alliance Graphique Internationale in 2011.
Dan Schlitz
Danny Schlitz is an illustrator from the Pacific Northwest area. He illustrates and designs for many local agencies and corporations near and far. Danny has been creating marketing materials, animation, art direction, and more for close to 18 years. His experience ranges from animations seen in Times Square, t-shirt graphics for 5k races, and everything in between. His inspiration comes from everywhere but especially from science fiction, retro pop culture, and his funny kids.
