Iri Greco and Jim Fryer make up Brakethrough Media. As a team, they bring out each other’s best traits: big thinking, spontaneity, pragmatism, authenticity, and balance. Together, Iri and Jim create serious visuals without taking themselves too seriously. We are BrakeThrough Media, New York- and San Francisco-based editorial and commercial photographers with a collective aesthetic. We specialize in sports, active, lifestyle, and travel content. From the great outdoors to studio locales, we shoot everything and everywhere, both domestically and in Europe. Our clients are our aesthetic currency. We build relationships, not transactions. Collaboration is our keystone. We pay attention. Our work is bold and nuanced, raw yet refined. We cultivate a documentary style with an inclusive emotional appeal. We seek out the perfect moment—whether candid or crafted. We are storytellers. We strive to capture, hold, and move the audience while never being commonplace. We smash ordinary.

Kimberly Soderberg lives in Cleveland, Ohio with her husband, a graphic designer, and two sons, who provide her with continuous inspiration. Her love of painting and drawing started from an early childhood. She studied at the Columbus College of Art & Design where she received her bachelor's degree in fine arts, with an emphasis in illustration. After graduation she decided to focus on illustrating for children. During that time she joined the Society of Children's Books for Writers and Illustrators (SCWBI) and dedicated herself to learning all there is to know about the art of children's illustration. As the exploration of the industry evolved, she decided to enroll in the Oatley Academy of Visual Storytelling where she learned the ins and outs of digital art. Over the last five years her work has been published in picture books, ebooks, coloring books, story books, and children's magazines.
