Vietnamese artist Turine Tran studied design in Vietnam, before going to the School of Art, Design and Media in Singapore. She moved to Edinburgh to study for a Masters in Illustration, and later returned to Vietnam. Her imaginative children's illustrations were inspired by some of the Victorian greats like Arthur Rackham, yet she's established her own unique style which is charming, elegant and popular with clients who like her nostalgic, painterly approach. Turine's style is intentionally nostalgic. She wants viewers to reminisce when they see her work - as though it's just been discovered in a dusty old attic. Her Victorian-inspired illustrations are full of whimsical lines and forms, given life by paper textures.
After studying photography at Southwestern University, Nick Simonite developed his photographic style while on sabbatical in Kunming, China. There, he captured rich bucolic landscapes and portraits of individuals from every facet of life. Since then, Simonite has combined years of photojournalism expertise with an esoteric skill set uniquely tuned for editorial and creative commercial photography. While fully embracing absurdity, Simonite's style is best characterized as clean, naturalistic and lucid. Having worked substantially in all aspects of commercial photography (lighting, retouching, compositing, etc.), Simonite is able to see productions from shoot to delivery while maintaining his distinct aesthetic and detail-oriented focus on quality.

James Merrell is a photographer based in England, though often found in the silver tube of an airplane travelling somewhere on assignment for the numerous projects commissioned by magazines, design groups, and agencies he works with. This appetite for diverse challenges is reflected by the innumerable examples of his work found inside international publications and brochures, alongside the many books published including his work. Primarily his photographs reflect a fascination with people along with where and how they live, what they wear, eat, delight in, and look at. A long believer in the creative possibilities of close collaboration this has resulted in the opportunity of working with some of the most interesting and talented individuals in their fields. Though somewhat of a workaholic he is occasionally known to relax and is fond of his houseboat and motorcycles.
Looking at one of Kathryn Rathke's line-based illustrations can be a bit like working out a puzzle – was it created using one fluid and continuous line, or many? According to the Seattle-based artist she owes her drawing skills to family connections. Her grandmother taught her to draw and supplied her with books by Arthur Rackham, Maurice Sendak, and William Steig, while her father was president of an advertising agency and used to bring home reams of paper for her to practice on. Kathryn received an MFA in Set Design at the University of Wisconsin but was always drawing on the side, sometimes accepting commissions from newspapers and magazines. Eventually she flipped things around and made her illustration work a full-time profession and set design became her hobby.
Marcus Nilsson found his way to photography via food. He originally came to New York from Sweden as a sous chef to Marcus Samuelson, but soon transitioned from the kitchen to behind the camera. His creative eye is not limited to food, capturing still life and portraits with the same creative flair.

Raised in a Kansas suburb, Amy Postle first studied painting and drawing at the Kansas City Art Institute and then later, photography at Brooks institute in Santa Barbara. She now splits her time between Brooklyn and Chicago with her husband Brian, sons Luke and Alex, and their German Shepherd Marley. Amy's work explores the ideologies of womanhood and the secret lives and fantasies of women. She approaches her subjects as more of a film director than photographer, and strives to promote self-esteem and a positive body image in women.
When Martha Napier took the leap and became a full-time freelance illustrator in 2013, the world of fashion design lost a wonderful creator, but the world of illustration gained an excellent artist. Martha's vivid watercolors and loose, almost naïve style, have given a lighthearted lift to all kinds of interesting projects in fashion, advertising, editorial and more. She also does live painting for clients, and was named a top illustrator to watch on Instragram by InStyle magazine. Martha has a BA in Studio Art from Wake Forest University, and was a Presidential Scholar at the same college in Fine Art. She discovered her love of fashion illustration at the Parsons School of Design, where she studied for a post grad degree in Fashion Design.
Sue Parkhill's work feels like it comes from the heart. Her lighting is very painterly but her work has a compelling reality to it. Her work is sensitive and never overworked with a real breadth of vision. Sue doesn't get bogged down in details and she's highly technical. She is incredibly approachable and has very little ego. Sue was born and grew up in Australia. She received her Masters in Fine Art from the Royal College of Art in London. Her work has been exhibited in Europe, North America and Australia.
