Photographer Lincoln Barbour recently shot a cover story for the Central Virginia publication, Albemarle Magazine. The feature, “Barnstorming,” highlights two different barn constructions. Lincoln’s focus was to capture the agriculture iconography of the barns and how their use has transformed over time.
As Lincoln explains on his blog, “Photographing these barns was a rewarding experience, not just because of their visual appeal but because of the stories they tell. The Southwest Mountains Vineyards barn celebrates renewal and reinvention, while the Hope’s Legacy barn represents compassion and progress. Both examples show how thoughtful design and a clear purpose can transform spaces into something meaningful.”
