Luisa Jung’s Latest Work

Posted on

Illustrator Luisa Jung recently completed two projects with two very different asks.

The first (and featured) piece is a new portrait of Gregory Maguire for Simmons University Magazine. The bestselling author of Wicked is also one of Simmons University’s distinguished alumnus. In the latest issue of Simmons Magazine, celebrating the university’s 125th anniversary, Simmons News spoke with Maguire as he reflected on his time as one of the first graduates of Simmons’ Master of Arts in Children’s Literature program—now marking its 50th year.

The second project is a series of illustrations commissioned by the German Heart Foundation for their magazine articel appearing in HERZHeute titled A gender-sensitive approach to Cardiology. Through her art, Luisa asks which differences matter, and why?

See the second project below. For more of Luisa’s work, visit her Workbook portfolio.
