Illustrator Margherita Caspani reveals her latest collaboration with Uniqlo: the Art Wall of the Uniqlo store in Piazza Cordusio, Milan.
Hand-painting a work of this scale marked a meaningful milestone in Caspani’s career. Set in the heart of a city she feels deeply connected to, the wall became a canvas for bringing her distinctive world and characters to life in a singular, immersive way.
For Uniqlo, the artwork interprets the brand’s Lifewear philosophy—the idea that what we wear is an everyday expression of who we are. Across the wall, Caspani’s characters stroll, play, fly, and dream, capturing this spirit with warmth and imagination. In Milan, a city defined by fashion and style, clothing becomes part of a personal story, where each outfit is a small yet powerful act of self-expression—mirrored in the everyday moments and imagined lives unfolding across Caspani’s wall.
