Mendola Artists Are Already off to a Busy Start

Mendola Artists have churned out an array of beautiful editorial and publishing, packaging, advertising, and branding projects now in print and animated for the web.

Kate Forrester was commissioned by the San Diego Zoo to illustrate their 2021 new year greeting card.
Rachael Saunders        was commissioned by Puffin Books to illustrate the book Fidget the Wonder Dog written by Patricia Forde. The story is an epic tale of love, loss, reunion, and adventure on the high seas, told through the friendship of a girl and her dog, Fidget.
Mike Wimmer                    was commissioned by former Oklahoma governor Frank Keating to illustrate the book Hamilton published by Simon & Schuster. This is the sixth book he has illustrated for Keating’s series highlighting heroes in American history.
Luke Lucas     was commissioned by Showtime to create lettering for beer bottles promoting the final season of the television show Shameless. Lucas also created the 3D rendering of the can, and the glass and bottle were photographed by Pari Dukovic.
Julia Green     was commissioned by Hasbro to illustrate the packaging for the Go Green edition of their classic board game Monopoly.
Lucia Gaggiotti          was commissioned by Irving & Co for Rummo Pasta to create a series of 3 posters to promote 3 different types of pasta by Rummo.
Jeff Mangiat   was commissioned by Boston Beer to create a festive wreath and garland illustration for Samuel Adams raffle, Sam Winter Sweeps.
Tom Newsom        was commissioned by Celestial Seasonings to illustrate the packaging for their new festive flavor: White Chocolate Peppermint White Tea.
Caroline Attia was commissioned by Aga Khan Foundation to create an animation about how Covid-19 threatened to stop Afghan girls from getting to school and continuing their education. Afghan communities – with the support of the Afghan government, the UK’s FCDO, the Aga Khan Foundation and partners – came together to find ways to keep girls learning so that no matter what they could follow their dreams. In Caroline’s animation, an Afghan girl named Laila shows how she continued to study during Covid-19 while school where closed.
Laura Barrett was commissioned by Harlequin Books to illustrate the cover to Marion Lane and the Midnight Murder, a historical detective novel set in 1950s London written by T.A. Willberg.
Darling Clementine was commissioned by H&M to illustrate a selection of gift cards for ladies, birthdays, kids, and men, which can be found in store and online.
