From playful pranks to shelf-ready packaging, Publix recently enlisted the versatile talent at Mendola Artists for a series of high-profile creative projects.
Agent Bob kicked things off with a detailed social media illustration of a fictional Publix location in Anchorage, Alaska. The “new store” announcement was a clever April Fool’s prank, with Agent Bob’s hyper-realistic scene providing the perfect cover for the ruse.
Navina Chhabria is currently leading a redesign of Publix’s store-brand meats. Her vibrant, eye-catching food illustrations are being featured across an ongoing series of new product labels, bringing a fresh and inviting aesthetic to their sausage line.
Lulu Dubreuil continues her streak of seasonal hits, illustrating the packaging for the latest limited-edition ice cream sensation: Peanut Butter and Jelly.
Whether it’s social media storytelling or national product branding, these artists are helping redefine the visual identity of one of the country’s favorite supermarket chains.
