Mike Tittel‘s latest campaign for Adidas was a massive shoot that required a lot of everything: locations, crew, post production, and of course, imagery.
The crew of roughly 35 shot in Japan, mostly on the Izu Peninsula (near Ito, Izu, and Atami) but with a few locations closer to Yokohama and across the bay from Tokyo. Shoot ‘Em Productions out of Shanghai, along with Groove Location Services in Japan, added assistance in getting the crew from location to location.
Each finished ad is composed of a tight portrait, an action shot, and additional elements to be used as backdrops or in the composite builds, which were completed by the agency Captive Shanghai. The campaign
was broken into two parts: the Vertical line, which is designed for functionality and the Versatile line, which is more everyday wear.
These ads will also get a lot of coverage. They will run in print, digital, billboards, and in-store throughout China.
