With her latest series, photographer Nathalie Gordon reminds us that women have a voice, and continue to push back against archetypal female roles: the cowed housewife, the harassed secretary, or women who exercise their right to choose.
Natalie says, “In creating this project I am reminded that I do have a voice and I can speak up about anything that doesn’t sit well with me. This is the first “political” photo project I’ve done and it is something I could develop. Highlighting the mistreatment of not only women but other people in this modern day society is important to me. For now I have my 3 characters: domestic abuse, work place harassment and reproductive rights.”
