People love Steve Peixotto’s work. He has been fortunate to work with many great creatives over the years. The first question he is asked on that first call though, is not usually about his work, how he works with people (fabulously) or what he thinks of the project at hand, it is almost always “How do you pronounce your name?” Steve is fluent in Spanish. He recently moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area from Nayarit, Mexico. He has shot extensively (both in English and in Spanish) on large and small productions throughout USA, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Sometimes it makes sense to take a production to Mexico when clients are serving Latino markets, and the fact that Steve has resources in Mexico as well as a command of the language makes him the right man for the job. Having the ability to translate a client’s ideas into great photography no matter where he is doesn’t hurt either. Once they get past the roadblock of a name, clients love Steve’s attention to detail, and his ability to set up authentic situations to play out in front of his camera. When he’s not shooting Steve can be found trying to get used to the cold water of the Northern California Coast on a surfboard with his kids or skiing down the slopes of the Sierra Nevada where he coaches a ski team. When he was 15 he taught himself how to control his eyes independently of each other because he thought it was cool. … And, PEIXOTTO, well it sort of sounds like PEY-SHOW-TOE
Kate Voisin is an illustrator from New Orleans, focusing on editorial and children's illustration. With over a decade of graphic design, marketing, and illustration experience, she’s worked with agencies, with companies and organizations of all sizes, and as an in-house designer. Her design work has been used by Energizer, The Venetian Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, Dearfoams, TurboSquid, and more. While her passion for classic children's illustration has long informed her sense of design, she is returning from digital marketing to her roots, creating eye-catching illustrations for her clients, many of whom have turned into valued, long-term clients. She approaches her drawings with a sense of humor, a sense of color, and a passion for shapely shapes and soft textures.
Scott Harben is a visual story teller. He creates images, whether moving or still that evoke emotion, thought and most importantly, entertain. Scott constantly asks himself the question “how do I highlight your needs and your goals in such a short stroke?” It goes like this, Scott has had the great fortune of collaborating with talented individuals, has worked on amazing campaigns and has found himself involved with great ideas. What he loves about those he has worked with is their constant focus on pushing the work. It’s inspiring and keeps his mind fresh. Throughout the years Scott has discovered his role has changed from simply a vendor to a full on team member. Often he gets called in at the very onset of a campaign to help bring an idea to life. The relationships he has garnered this way go back over 20 years. Scott says “I love what I do and who I do it with.” This year found Scott connecting with individuals whose careers he helped get going and yet he is still inspired again to push himself further. Although it’s the work that always drives him, it's the people he's fortunate enough to work with that motivates his vision.
