If you made it this far, it means you like Vijey's work and want to know about the mortal behind the camera. He'll try to make this simple and not hit you with cheesy facts on how he picked up his dad’s camera when he was 10 (No one cares about that). • When he was in first grade he wanted to be a "Chocolate!" He was not the sharpest pencil in the box. • Born in India. Made in USA. (“Made” as in his photography career, if you didn’t get it.) • Works from Los Angeles & New York. • Coffee gets him through the day and Whisky takes over at night. • He makes the world’s best Old Fashioned. • He can have endless conversations about Star Wars and DC universe. • School? Yup! Got a B.F.A in Photography (RIP Brooks Institute) • Why Still-Life? Unlike models, Products are on time for the shoot and they don't talk much. • Artists he looks up to are Richard Avedon & Marshall Mathers. • He LOVES what he does. He gets bored when he's not in the studio shooting. He hopes he didn’t make this bio like a Tinder profile. Oops.

Capturing light and moments, the precise image to tell the story of your brand - your product - your business - in a unique and fresh voice through photography. From fashion to commercial lifestyle advertising imagery, whether it is elegant or fun, cutting edge or conversational, targeted or experimental - that's what J. Aitcheson Photography is all about. James Aitcheson, when not behind the camera, can often be found behind the mic of an amateur radio or camping in the High Peaks of the Adirondack park. When he isn't out communing with nature (and scouting out new locations for epic photo shoots in the process) he can be found at his home in New York with his family - his wife, two sons, a small pack of cats that own him, an African Grey bird that holds court in his in-home portrait studio, and a Great Dane dog that prefers to sleep (on his feet) under his desk.
