We love to see illustration in use beyond the traditional two dimensional editorial or advertising. Digital marketer, Tap Pad hired Kirsten Ulve to create 150 characters to cover one of their promotional vehicles that was seen serving coffee on the streets of Manhattan recently. It might be a little hard to distinguish from the images here, but Kirsten’s characters were printed in blue underneath a pattern of red and yellow and were only visible through a red decoder lens. The effect created a fun and interactive experience for viewers as they “Find Who Matters” beneath the surface.
