Radiant Studios contacted illustrator Paul Tong with the somewhat unusual request to create concept art for a proposed independent film, Erstwhile. The film has a lot of surreal imagery, and representatives from the studio felt Paul’s illustrative style was the best way to covey their vision for the proposal. He illustrated eight key scenes from the script in which human figures wander through beautiful but foreboding landscapes.
