Photographer/Director John Fedele captured the grit and outdoor action of the Polaris RZR as part of an ongoing personal project. “I’ve been wanting to create new portfolio work that feels more personal so I built a small off-road series around my ‘toy’.”
Making sure to not be overly produced, John wanted to capture the RZR roaring through a perfect outdoor location with the goal of making something with speed and grit. “The RZR is a great subject with its sharp lines, big tires, exposed suspension and 180 horsepower. It has attitude before you even start shooting. Once it’s moving, the whole scene changes when the dust kicks up, light cuts through it and every pass gives me something chaotically different.”
This series is a way for John to explore more work in the off-road, adventure, and motorsports space; a reminder to “shoot the images you want to be hired for.”
