A lifelong love of photography and cinema led Chris DeFord to a career in the commercial photography/film industry. As a student at Arizona State University pursuing a degree in English, he worked on commercial film projects throughout the varied geography of the state. An appreciation of the unique landscapes of the Southwest developed into a fascination with landscape and night-exposure photography. And that led Chris to a deepening interest in photographing the people who inhabit these amazing landscapes. Chris has spent the time since in Los Angeles and Chicago shooting commercial television projects as a cinematographer and directed award-winning visual content He's also shot national and regional photography campaigns. His favorite projects combine photography and motion, in which he creates a unique meshing of the two mediums. His style is apparent in both; his photography feels a part of his motion work and vice versa. Chris continue to learn with every project he works on, and the learning comes from working with people who inspire him.
Sean Alonzo Harris has always been curious about peoples' lives and the experiences that shape their worlds. When he was a seven-year-old, he asked his grandmother for a tape recorder but got a camera instead. "Why a camera?" he asked.  She replied, "You can record with a camera, too." By the time he was thirteen-years-old, Sean had built a darkroom in his bedroom, as his passion for photography continued to grow. He received the first recognition of his work when in high school. Sean's art teacher submitted his work into the James VanDerZee Black Heritage award competition, and he won first place and honorable mention. Not only was this his first payday as an artist, but it was also Sean's first introduction to the artist James VanDerZee, who would remain a strong influence on his identity as an artist. His education in photography continued at the Art Institute of Boston, study abroad in Italy, and at Maine Media Workshops. After college, He established himself as a commercial, fine art, and editorial photographer, working in Maine, Boston, and New York. Just like Captain James T. Kirk, Timothy Baur is an Iowa man. In his early years growing up in Iowa, Tim trained in music, had lead rolls in musical theatre, and is an accomplished musician, singer, and composer. Tim’s love of photography and film started as a teenager in Austin, Minnesota (home of Spam & Hormel chili) with a 35mm Vivitar camera, and his passion for capturing images continues to this day. Tim moved to Phoenix and continued his education at Arizona State University. After college he worked as a dive instructor, teaching and conducting worldwide dive tours, until a few years later, following his dream, he moved to Los Angeles and apprenticed as a photo assistant for Robert Grigg. He took off on his own five years later and in 1989 founded Baur Photography. After soloing in a Cessna 182 at the age of sixteen, Tim’s passion for flight took root. Tim has flown RC planes and helicopters since 1983, but he really wanted to get back behind the controls of a plane, so while he was building his business, he was also learning to fly. By 1990, he had his certified private pilot’s license, followed by his commercial license in 1992. He flies both fixed wing and helicopters, along with paramotoring. In addition, he is a seasoned drone pilot and camera op. All these skills and talents have culminated into Tim’s ability to get shots on the ground, underwater, or in the air. It doesn’t matter how or where, Tim’s excitement and love for capturing innovative, creative, and artistic images is always his number one passion.
