Anna and Jordan Rathkopf are an award-winning photo and video team creating visual narratives focused on issues of health, identity, and what it means to be part of a community. Anna was raised in Prague, in the shadows of historic architecture and world-class museums. She learned about composition, the use of light, and how to capture rare moments from her uncle, a renowned Eastern European photographer. Jordan, a former media relations specialist, grew up in Brooklyn, where he learned to connect with people from all walks of life and developed an eye for symmetry and hidden charm. He finds that as different as people are, they're still mostly the same: They want to be understood, they like a good story, and most can be disarmed with an unexpected compliment. Anna met Jordan at an '80s-themed nightclub in Prague after he was struck by her unconventional dance moves.
Jay Fram is the guy agencies call on to craft evocative, honest portraits of real people and places. Authentic, emotive, and unusual, his images tell stories even when they stand alone. After a couple decades of running his own shop and honing my craft as a commercial and editorial photographer, he's still enamored with the language and allure of the medium. He's known for his ability to put people at ease;  even or especially when they don’t love having their picture taken. A successful shoot is about more than great images; it’s about great customer service. It should be a fun, thorough, and satisfying experience for the client. Jay enjoys the thrill of overseeing production with a crew of thirty, but also never tires of the intimacy of a small shoot.  Assignments have taken him across the country from Memphis to Raleigh to Virginia Beach to Los Angeles. He's had the privilege of photographing all kinds of professional talent and real people – from the executive team of a global biotech firm, to presidential primary candidates, to unhoused teens aging out of foster care. In 2019, he relocated from St. Louis to the Pacific Northwest and now lives in weird and magical Portland with his wife Jackie and his two boys, Jupiter and George. Robert Randall absolutely loves what he does: photographing incredible people in amazing locations. For the last 25 years he's had the good fortune to make a living doing just that: photographing everyone from athletes to celebrities, models, executives, and regular folks for ad agencies, brands, magazines, designers, hotels and resorts. Currently he's living between Southern California, Denver, and Puerto Vallarta with his wife Dawn, a mischievous cattle dog named Blü, and a cat with a face like a pirate named Captain Cosmo. Whether he's shooting stills or making films, he has one guiding principle: plan meticulously and then be flexible in his approach. On set, he's looking for “flow,” that split second when his subjects are so “in state,” so immersed in what they are doing that they barely even know he's there.  Robert's looking for that peak instant and then hits the shutter and captures it, that beautiful moment.
Brian Carlson Brian has crafted stories through photography and film with passion, empathy, and a dash of humor for over a decade. His work is honest and engaging, and  extensive travel throughout the world has taught him how to interact with all kinds of people. His wife and two boys are the pride. Nature, a good book, and time in his modest garden  help to rejuvinate him; small talk is alright, but deep, meaningful conversation is where it’s at for Brian Carlson
