Photographer R. Brad Knipstein returns to the San Francisco Decorator Showcase in 2026, continuing a prestigious tenure that began in 2013. This season, acclaimed design firms Aubrey Maxwell, Jeffery Neve, and Peruri Design Company sought Brad’s refined eye to document their highly anticipated spaces. Having previously collaborated with these designers for premier global publications like Architectural Digest and The Wall Street Journal, Brad brought an intuitive visual shorthand to the collaboration. His imagery lends a grand, cinematic scale to each environment, utilizing commanding perspectives and meticulous lighting to expand the rooms on camera. While honoring the distinct artistry and imagination of each firm, Brad is able to capture each designer’s bespoke, luxury details that define elite interior architecture.
Even after more than a decade at the Showcase, Brad still finds new excitement each season brings. “I look forward to the transformation of the home and the variety of design choices from space to space. It’s interesting to see so many different takes on design as you walk through the home. There is a great deal of effort and planning from all the contractors and fabricators as well as the designers. I feel this year there was a more harmonious transition from room to room compared to other years.”
