Photographer Reid Rolls was recently at the forefront in helping a designer and an architect establish how they want to portray themselves and their work through photography. This series of a beautiful, modern home on Martha’s Vineyard succeeds in that it prompts all the right questions about the space. As Reid told us, “Looking at photographs of beautiful interiors really lets people go to a place in their heads, fantasize even, about what it would be like to live there. There’s so much to an interior photograph… Who lives there? Who’s the designer? Where did they get that piece of furniture or art? How did they think to do that with the space?”
In other words, the series encapsulates all the measured decisions, big and small, that created this beautiful interior.
