Photographer Scott Montgomery’s recent personal project took him to his local pickleball courts. Stemming from a family history of healthy competition, Scott decided to capture the moments of triumph and defeat amongst weekend warriors playing for the love of the game. “What I loved about this is the fun, [the] winner’s spoils was a moment of trash talking and who got to pick the next playlist on the boom box. Dolly, a golden retriever, was the closest thing to an umpire keeping watch.”
