Photographer Scott Van Osdol braved bee stings and smoke to capture these wonderful images of a beekeeper. A beekeeper for years, his friend Gary was a seasoned pro, but Scott did not fare so well. He soldiered on in a bee suit, and the worker bees left him alone long enough to get good closeups of the bees themselves with Gary grabbing the spoils of their labor. They say love hurts, but a honey-bear bottle full of the good stuff as well as some great images were salve enough for the pain.
