Established in 1945, Bevolo Gas & Electric Lights has handcrafted lanterns in its French Quarter workshops for generations. Built on a tradition of quality and craftsmanship, their fixtures have become an iconic part of the city’s architecture and character.
With that in mind Photographer/Director Tadd Myers focused on capturing the people, process, and craftsmanship behind the brand – from the workshops to the finished lanterns. “One of the things I enjoy most about my work is collaborating with people who genuinely care about what they do. Whether it’s a craftsman, manufacturer, or family-owned business, I’m drawn to organizations that show up every day committed to doing things the right way and constantly striving for quality. Bevolo embodies that spirit, and it’s what made this project so rewarding.”
Tadd Myers focused on the details, seeing them as signatures that would elevate each image to create a cohesive narrative of legacy and tradition. The images speak for themselves, imbued with pride coming from both Tadd and Bevolo combined.
