Team Building with Cherry Coke Zero and Eli Meir Kaplan

Posted on

Photographer Director Eli Meir Kaplan developed this Cherry Coke Zero test shoot as part of his ongoing effort to build out a beverage lifestyle portfolio. Working within a limited budget during a slower season, he conceived the project around a playful, narrative-driven concept using the field where my daughter has soccer practice as the location. Kaplan landed on the idea of a going-out-of-business parachute company doing team-building exercises to build company morale.

Kaplan collaborated with T.H.E. Artist Agency to cast talent, who brought energy and humor to the concept. With assistant Stephanie Butler, Eli embraced a stripped-down approach, relying on natural overcast light with no stylists or artificial lighting and allowing the performances and setting to carry the visual story. The result is a character-driven, resourceful test that reflects Kaplan’s ability to merge concept, casting, and environment into a cohesive lifestyle narrative.
