“These days it’s harder and harder for individual photographers to secure a book showing at advertising agencies,” says The Group member David Zaitz. “We’ve banded together a diverse group of photographers in order to efficiently meet with agencies where solo shooters might have more difficulty securing a show. Art producers and creatives have very limited time, so this is a way to meet several artists at once, making the most of their time. The treats and refreshments don’t hurt, either!”
Group members are Ali Donzé, Dana Hursey, Nick Nacca, Tracy+David and David Zaitz and represent a great mix of style and subject specialities.
Portfolio showings are already underway in Los Angeles, and The Group will connect with buyers nationwide when they take their show on the road.
