Steven Noble was commissioned to create new label illustrations for The Temple Bar Whiskey, rendered in his signature scratchboard engraving style. The artwork features the iconic Temple Bar building and logo, capturing the character of what is widely regarded as Ireland’s most famous pub—celebrated worldwide for its hospitality and exceptional whiskey collection.
Owner Tom Cleary sought to revive a longstanding family tradition of blending and bottling whiskey in the pub’s own cellars—a practice common in Irish pubs more than a century ago. The central objective was to develop an iconic whiskey brand that honors the integrity and heritage of Irish whiskey while reflecting the distinct history and spirit of The Temple Bar Pub.
