In 2016, photographer Smeeta Mahanti photographed 300 kids ages 10-17, each with a written message to the world and dated with the year they would be able to vote. In August 2020, Smeeta followed up with eight of these kids to ask them about their experiences over the last four years. What she learned is the kids are alright. Their candidness and knowledge of what is now happening in the world should give us all hope for the future.
