When Covid-19 hit, photo team Tracy and David felt compelled to document the world as it adapted to the new normal. As former photo journalists, they were inspired to tell the stories of how people are adapting, creating, and living life in a profoundly changed world. Also as former athletes — Tracy a competitive swimmer and David a soccer player — they were curious to know how athletes in their community were coping with the loss of months of training and physical conditioning and set out to share these athletes’ stories of persistence, dedication, adaptation, and creativity.
They produced everything as a team, telling these stories in stills, motion, and audio and have been careful to follow all social distancing and safety protocols throughout this project.
