Wes Rowell Makes the Case for a New Pulitzer Prize Category

Illustrator Wes Rowell presents a well-thought-out argument for the inclusion of editorial illustration to the list of Pulitzers awarded every year. There are already  two categories for photography: breaking news and feature photography. There is already a category for editorial cartoon illustration. The most renowned newspapers and magazines and other media platforms consistently rely on illustration to add depth and breadth to their stories.
