Here at Workbook we’re always trying to think of ways in which we can help our clients keep up with business trends and even stay out ahead of them. The new year is the best time to look at what’s working, what’s not and set goals that will help implement change that will empower you and your work. On our end we have been working to make Workbook very “motion” friendly. We’ve added a Directors/Motion tab and an Animation tab to our print volumes. In the equivalent online version we’ve added many exciting integrated features that will engage the viewer and connect them to you and your work. We’ve carved out separate sections at the site for both live action Motion/Directors and Animation providers each with their own unique keywords.
This all leads us to one of our biggest recommendations if you are a motion provider; upload your new files and keyword them. Review your existing files and keyword them too if you haven’t already. Creatives are asking for motion content, so let’s give them what they need.
Also, be sure to update your current galleries with new imagery. Creative buyers thrive on what’s new, so be thoughtful about your hero images and change them at least monthly. Give the same consideration to your galleries that you would to a portfolio; make sure they have an interesting flow and that the images are cropped well. Plan a test shoot to create new content.
And finally, don’t hesitate to ask us for help or feedback. When your work shines, it creates opportunity.
