Will Graham Melds Product and Performance for Corkcicle

Posted on

When Corkcicle approached Photographer Will Graham to create epic, product-focused imagery for their new athletic workout bottle, he pitched a bold idea: a fitness shoot on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Known for its endless, reflective landscape and studio-quality natural light, the Salt Flats offered the perfect minimalist stage for high-energy visuals. “It’s basically the world’s largest cyc wall,” Graham said, making it ideal for clean, cinematic imagery that highlights both product and performance.

With a crew of six, two clients, and a U-Haul full of CrossFit gear sourced from Salt Lake City gyms, the team headed to Wendover, Utah. They overnighted nearby to catch the critical first light, since the midday sun can be brutal on the flats. Having previously worked with the athletes, Graham knew they could handle the environment, and the team pushed through an intense morning of shooting, capturing stills and short video clips before the conditions became too harsh.

Graham credits the success of the project to Corkcicle’s adventurous spirit and creative trust. “When clients say yes to the journey, the results are always more rewarding,” he said. Despite the challenges, the collaboration produced striking visuals that matched the scale and energy of the brand. It was a shoot defined by vision, teamwork, and the willingness to go where the light—and the idea—demanded.
