Amanda Wolfson Davis began her career in retail as a visual merchandiser and window display artist in downtown Chicago. Positioning products to draw attention and maximize sales were the driving forces behind her work, collaborating with retail and corporate clients to tell visual stories. Sourcing and fabricating props, painting unique backdrops and building sets were a large part of her retail career as well as styling mannequins and hard line merchandise. After a photographer friend enlisted Amanda's services for a photoshoot styling for Kraft Foods Macaroni and Cheese, she fell in love with the controlled yet creative environment of a photography set. She was able to draw from her knowledge of color and composition, prop sourcing and product placement to tell meaningful visual stories. From that moment on, Amanda immersed herself in the world of prop styling and commercial photography, learning as much as she could to become competitive and sought after as a stylist for brands including Amazon, CB2, Corelle, Crate and Barrel, KitchenAid, Pyrex, Trunk Club, and Ulta Beauty.
