ScreenTime FAQS. And the answers too.

HOW DOES IT WORK FOR REVIEWERS?

We’ve created a fun, engaging, organized, Zoom portfolio event where creative buyers meet with Workbook artists in private one on one meetings. Because your time and abilities are respected, an honorarium is provided.

IS IT ALL DAY?
No. We offer the choice of two sessions: Morning or Afternoon.

HOW MANY ARTISTS WILL I MEET?
Each reviewer has 7 consecutive meetings.

HOW LONG IS A SESSION?
Appointments are only 20 mins long with 10 min breaks in between. Guaranteed.

DO I HAVE A SAY IN WHO I MEET?
We provide a quick survey to get a feel for the type of imagery you’ll find the most interesting. We do our best to match you with the artists that fit your responses.

IS THIS A CRITIQUE?
No, it’s not. This a chance to meet professional artists, many of whom are major award-winners. You get to see great work and the person who produced that work. It’s a fun and low-pressure way to see if personalities match.

HOW DOES IT WORK FOR ARTISTS?

It’s a Zoom meeting with breakout rooms. Artists get private one on one meetings with a creative buyer.

HOW MANY MEETINGS DO I GET?
Each artist is given 4 appointments per event. Priority is established by order of RSVP for the event. Appointments are 20 mins long.

HOW LONG IS MY DAY?
Artists must be available for the full day from 9am-4pm.

WHEN WILL I KNOW MY SCHEDULE?
Meeting schedule will be received by artists on the Wednesday or Thursday prior to the event.

CAN MY REP ATTEND WITH ME?
It’s requested by the creative decision makers that only the artists themselves attend. This is a unique opportunity not just for the artist, but also for industry people to meet potential collaborators and see if they connect on a personal level.

They don’t just want to see the work. They want to meet the person behind the work.

WHO ARE THE REVIEWERS?
Predominantly art and creative directors

HOW DO YOU RECRUIT A REVIEWER?
We ask if they hire, their accounts and type of imagery they would like to see.
We reach out to a large selection of buyers so there are a range of specialties represented. We work to ensure that the artists attending have several worthwhile choices in meetings.

DO I HAVE A SAY IN WHO I MEET?
Selection instructions with reviewer info is sent to all attendees/artists so they can rank their meeting preferences at least a week and a half prior to the event.

Attendance for artists to Screen Time events is by invitation for a specific date. It is not a rolling invitation and make-ups are not issued. However, every effort is made to add or place an artist on a waiting list for another event.

Screen Time events are planned far in advance with invitations sent to artists and the creative decision makers who match the artist focus. Thank you for your understanding.
