Each month, we feature a trending topic in illustration, and this week we’re take a look at that thing called Humanity.

With the current surge of AI having us question every image and video on the internet, it’s no wonder that hand-crafted technique and lived experience are being sought after in the Illustration world. In our most recent podcast interview, we spoke with agency creatives at DAGGER Atlanta about how concepts may start with AI, but it ends with the need for human artistry. Though innovation may continue to offer tools for artists in the illustration space, an artist’s distinct point of view is still their most valuable asset.
