Illustrator Alyah Holmes has been busy bringing powerful stories and local culture to life through illustration.
For the new Walmart location in Port Credit, Alyah created a bold mural that celebrates the neighborhood’s culture, history, and waterfront energy. From romantic patios to lakeside charm, her work captures the true spirit of this vibrant community.
Her latest editorial piece for Quebec Science Magazine, “Junk Food in Ghana”, visualizes the growing fight against the consumption of junk food in Ghana. Her vibrant, thought-provoking artwork helps highlight this important public health issue on an international stage.
Both projects showcase Alyah’s unique ability to blend storytelling with rich, dynamic visuals across editorial and public spaces.
